Anatomy Land is an e-learning program that uses illustrations in video format to help students learn anatomy through mnemonic devices. It consists of themed regions such as the Cranial Carnival for the head and Roman LEG-ends for the legs. Each video features illustrations drawn by different artists covering a specific part of organs, bone structures, muscle groups, vasculature, and more.

Anatomy Land Logo Design

thought process

The initial concept when brainstorming the logo was to incorporate the video learning process with anatomy. Originally, Anatomy Land’s old logo was a drawing of Milo, a Bichon Frisé and the mascot of Anatomy Land, so the paw print was part of the design process. The rectangular frame was meant to represent a screen in reflection to how users would learn anatomy through video illustrations.

Initial sketches: Procreate and Logotype in Illustrator

Refining the logo: InDesign and Illustrator
